Hi Nicholas,
I know the forum rules prohibit vendors from sales/promotions but I hope the moderators will allow me to respond to clarify a couple of points that may be inaccurate.
The interesting thing is we do indeed integrate with Passport for payments, but the integration for us to push citations the other way hasn't opened up yet. We do this for other citation management/handheld vendors so it is certainly something we are capable of and built our system to do. We would be more than happy to do that integration for you if you can talk to your Passport rep.
For payment apps, if you have Passport setup already, we can get them to turn on that integration at any point right now. Or if you have other payment vendors (paystation or app) you can see our list of integrations on our website where we have many integrations with leading providers. Both our vehicles and handhelds have full integration with all those vendors.
Other than that, we're always happy to work with you on any of your needs. Let me know. Otherwise, we will of course provide an RFP response if you decide to go that route.

Subject: RFP for enforcement vehicle LPR
Good morning,
We are in the early stages of gathering information for an RFP for a new LPR vendor for our enforcement vehicle. We currently utilize Tannery Creek for our LPR system, which does not integrate with our parking citation vendor, Passport.
At this time, we use the Tannery Creek software to "mark" vehicles, which provides back and side views of vehicles, along with the times, dates, and street locations where they were observed. We then need to manually issue tickets using a handheld device or create citations through the Passport portal.
Afterward, we upload photos and screenshots from videos of the violations to attach to the citations as proof of the violation, since most of the time the photos do not show posted signage. This process is time-consuming, and we are trying to streamline it.
We are also exploring the possibility of using LPR for meter enforcement in areas that are app-only, as we currently need to use the handheld app to check for violations.
Does anyone have recommendations for vendors they currently work with or have worked with? If anyone has an RFP they would be willing to share, I would greatly appreciate it. Depending on the vendor we select, we are also trying to determine how much we should budget.
Thank you!
