Hi colleagues - Austin is in session and we see a spate of draft legislation around LPR - how it can, cannot be used, how to manage data, who can or cannot use it, what can be enforced or not enforced, etc.
What is the environment in your agency/city for LPR? Is there a concern of it being legislated out of use? Do you have legislation in place that is working for your organization? Maybe you are working on legislation? Many cities are looking at citations by mail. Is there an appetite for this in your organization?
